In ERW we are talking about internet trolls.  I personally have never trolled anyone myself but my brother plays COD and I have witnessed him trolling a few times.  I asked him why he does it and his response was that he wants to get a reaction out of people for his own entertainment.  He also said he didn't do it to hurt anybody, he just thought it was funny.  "It's just a video game, what real harm could it do?"  he said.  He also has been trolled and he says it is actually very annoying and thinks those people are obnoxious.  "It is not fun being trolled but it is fun being the troll."  This leads me to believe that most people troll out of boredom and really don't mean any harm other than just to be annoying.  I don't support trolling honestly because I think it's immature and I think people should find better use of their time than acting like a 7th grader on the internet or on a video game.
