Trolling Around
I've never really seen a troll as something frightening. This is probably because I've never experienced negative content directed towards me or maybe because I see an easy solution for this issue. In my perspective, ignoring hurtful things that are said online shouldn't be that difficult but I know it isn't always this trouble-free. As technology has evolved over the past few years, online trolls have become a huge problem. The saddest thing about it is that cyber bullying will only continue to grow as more ways to anonymously are invented. Some people, like Lindy West for example, have experienced harassment daily that by now, it's a common part of their life. This is something that nobody should have to experience. I have noticed that sometimes people target others in order to feel better about themselves. They feel that since they don't feel good about themselves, others shouldn't as well. If they aren't happy, nobody should be. Before these trolls learn to love others, they need to focus on loving themselves.

You're very lucky you didn't have to experience trolling first hand! But I agree with you, it's honestly not hard to just ignore the negative comments/opinions of others that are irrelevant. The people who troll usually carry a mentality that since they are upset everyone else should be upset. They take their anger out on others with the security of being behind a screen and being anonymous. All in all people who troll just need to learn how to love because obviously they only know how to put others down :(
