A Different Outlook
After researching my topic, I found out how vague our country is. Even though we all like to make money and earn revenue, their way of earning it is not the right way to do it. Knowledge of what is in the food we consume everyday is a right the whole country deserves for their personal health. This realization I've recently had gives me almost a whole new mindset of what I think of our country. The FDA is not being totally honest with the stuff they are selling us and there are fatalities because of this lack of care. It also goes both ways though, if people want to eat the not so healthy food, at least let them know what they are eating and the risk that they are taking. Without the knowledge of these type of foods that may contain materials you are allergic too or simply GMO's, researching what you consume often might be the way to go since our government believes its not necessary. Researching about food can honestly can influence the way we eat later on. I have personally dropped some food that I used to eat because what I have discovered in my research because I feel like these foods can affect me heavily later on. eating right also starts with your parents early as we were children, that probably is one of the biggest influences on our eating habits. Overall, I look at food a lot differently these days and hope to continue to know the differences. We all have the "right" to know.
