When I enter college I hope to have no regrets my entire time. This is a fantastic goal that I plan to execute in these next four years of my life because any experience done with no regrets is an experience done right. When you have no regrets that is when you are truly content with your results, your work, and the goals you’ve accomplished. A life with no regrets doesn't mean you don't fail and fall flat on your face either because it's those moments that we should cherish and not regret just as we would our biggest success because the moments we fall are also the moments when we learn and gain experience and that's really what college is suppose to be. A place where a young adult can see the world gaining new knowledge and experiences whether they get something right or wrong so when we truly enter adulthood becoming that grown up with a blurry face we’ve always thought of ourselves in the future it will be the one that we want to be. One that's educated ,thoughtful, and totally badass.

ReplyDeleteMalik, your post has reached out to me and made me think about how much I have regretted doing in the past. "When you have no regrets, that is when you are truly content with your results, your work, and the goals you've accomplished." This quote has helped me think about how I need to keep moving forward and although I will make mistakes (a lot of them), I should try to be positive and have no regrets. I currently regret doing a lot of things.. but that is probably because I have not learned from them.
I hope you get into the college you want! I am pretty sure you will.

Hey Malik! I agree with you and I hope that I too will have no (or few) regrets in the future. Personally, fear of failing has stopped me from welcoming new things into my life and doing things I want to do. It has limited my opportunities to learn from my mistakes and gain experience. As a senior in October, I have a lot of regrets but I am working on minimizing them this year.
