Senior year is a scary, yet exciting thing to think about. As a freshman, becoming a senior seemed so far away but those few years quickly flew by. I don't think most of us really knew what stress and anxiety was until now. Despite these feelings, not knowing where we will end up is something we should look forward to instead of dread.

We are so used to seeing our peer's faces every day and it will be incredibly difficult and different next year as we go our separate ways. These are people who have made life worth living and the fact that some of us will be thousands of miles apart from one another should make us cherish what we have now. We shouldn't revolve our lives around things that make us worry because in reality, what benefit comes out of that? Once we graduate, we should be able to look back and say, "I had the best year of my life."

At first my senior year wasn't going so smooth but then it quickly turned around and is currently great. This is something I'm grateful for and I hope it stays like this. Of course, there will be struggles throughout this journey, but I guess that's just something everyone is going to have to deal with. However, things like football games, dances, assemblies, and everything senior year has to offer is what I'm looking forward to the most because these are things we will never experience again. Other than that, I'm excited for what this year has in store.
