Procastination

And it strikes me again this year. Procrastination the enemy of many seniors throughout the country, it makes work sloppy, rushed and not well done, its not the prettiest thing but its there to make the average teen life harder. Procrastination has hit me, it used to be so bad that I would do the homework in the class before the class its due in but its not as extreme as it used to be, because I never really had a goal in my High school years at Mayfair and now I do. That goal is to go to college, to get a well paying job, and to meet that special someone and have a family with them. All that (well almost all that) starts with me doing good in senior year and not waiting for the last second to start applying for college.

Procrastination is the cause of many people who are smart to fail in life. It can prevent many people from getting that job or applying to the better college to see if they would accept them. Procrastination makes some people lazy and unwilling to go for that extra ten percent in anything. I hope I can stop the procrastinating  before it makes irreversible effects on my life.

  1. I know right? I'm currently doing the commencement speech that I've been procrastinating since last week. Today, I was assigned two works by my economic and government teacher that will not be due tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I'll procrastinate those two too and regret it while doing it before it's due. Actually, commenting on this is one of the ways I try to procrastinate. I mean, I tried to prevent myself from procrastinating, but no matter what I do, I just gave in and procrastinate.

  3. Dude, Itotally get it. Procrastination is a seniors worst nightmare, especially at the beginning of the school year. But don't worry about it too much, we slip sometimes and that's okay. Just remember to stay on top of your A- game 😊

  4. I overall agree with your post; however, the part where you said procrastination is the cause of smart people failing is pretty ignorant(not to be rude couldn't think of a better word :c) but I think having a deadline pushes our thinking process SOMETIMES. So I'm not saying it's a cause of success, but at times procrastination helps. It turns the gears in your head and get words out faster. However, it does give less time to proofread, but at times procrastination might somehow help.
