Anonymity is Important

Relating my thoughts with a quote given from Sheryl Sandberg which states, " Pages on Facebook are allowed to be anonymous. That is really important. People start revolutions; We need anonymity", I believe that trolling occurs because anonymity allows people say whatever they want but wouldn't have the guts to say in person; But this thought can go both ways, negatively and positively. Anonymity also allows an expansion of thoughts, ideas, or words for the public. Anonymity can definitely start different branches of revolutions and anonymous requests that involve different theories. It can also provide professional appearances for an audience, like a page dedicated to a specific topic, schools, companies, or fan pages. It can unite organizations or people with mutual thoughts, who still wish to keep their identity unknown. Different, new, and lowball ideas and tactics are shared this way. Page dedications to specific thoughts and topics can be confidently expressed online. An example of this can be one of those pages on tumblr.com that unite teenagers that are going through difficult times. They get together to comfort each other without the feeling of embarrassment because of anonymity.
