Definition of Trolls

In the article "When ‘Trolling’ Becomes an Umbrella Term", written by Vsyali Manivannan, the definition of trolls appears. He explains that trolling is a set of diverse behaviors and that can range from death threat types to really funny pranks that do no harm to anybody. I believe that most of the articles that we have read during class, associate that all trolls that are 'death threat' level. They just tell the story of the trolls who are a bad example of the whole population of trolls. Then they try to get rid of anonymity in the online world where only the few of the whole is causing this trouble, no matter what, there will be people who are trolls. There are many examples of trolls on the internet that are just so that they can be funny, like people using the phase 'Thanks Obama" for an excuse for everything bad that happens to them. They use this because Obama is the president and he was supposed to be helping America with his polices. Another example of some non-crazy death threat level trolls are the ones that purposely make themselves look dumb for the attention of all the people who will be reading their statement.
