I Like Anonymity
Though I don't like trolls, in fact I don't think anyone does. Its just that, people feel more secure conversing or giving/asking advice without being known. The only thing that ruins it for those people are those who are childish and abuse the power of anonymity. They turn logical advice/opinions into hateful unnecessary comments. In the article titled," Don't Identify by Names Online but by Knowledge" by Annemarie Doolings, it states "But because there's no web-wide system of moral policing, each platform must decide what they will allow. The smart ones are already verifying the knowledge and background of their users to elevate informed conversations, allowing spam and nonsense to sink to the bottom." In our society of insecure uncertain people, we rely on anonymity. The only way to make the web easy for us to voice our opinions without being bombarded with trolls, is to educate the ones misusing the power to be anonymous.

I agree, who would like trolls? I personally feel that trolls are quite insecure about themselves. That is why I'm glad that the internet isn't just used to spread negativity but also in a positive way to promote confidence. We are the new generation and because of that I feel like we need to change social medial and how we use the internet as well as media. Instead of promoting so much hate and negativity, we should start a new era and embrace anonymity.
