Anonymity
People have the ability to voice their opinion and share their beliefs anonymously. Anonymity has it's flaws, but it allows people to voice their beliefs and opinions without being personally attacked. So far the most negative thing we know of is trolling. However, anonymity gives us freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Trolling is going to happen, but to prevent it we can come up with innovative ways to stop trolls from being able to comment things such as "death threats". Anonymity is not a bad thing. It allows people to discuss controversial topics because they aren't scared that people will verbally attack them and make their attacks personal. Sadly, people take advantage of anonymity, but I see it as something that society needs. It makes it easier for people to speak up because they won't feel as embarassed or nervous about stating their views, or opinions, because no one knows who they are.

I agree. I think we should keep anonymity as an option because of how much freedom of expression it gives us. Figuring out a solution to trolling is a hard and lengthy one that appears to be far from reach, but hopefully people come to realize how petty, ignorant, and hateful it is that it dies down a bit.
