The effects of low and high income eating habits

For this research paper, I will explain why the income of a person effects the type of foods they eat. How families with a low income eat more poorly than those families with a higher income. Many people believe that a person's income doesn’t effect the foods they eat. In some situations, this is the case. Everyone has the ability to buy any type of food that they want. But some people unfortunately don’t have the income to afford foods that are good for them because of the high cost of the item. When a person's income drops, the amount of money each member of their family has decreases. This makes people lean more towards foods that are cheaper which are those high in fats. In my opinion I think that companies should make healthier foods more affordable for those who do not have the funds to make healthy meals for themselves or for their families. One of the major reasons why families are becoming obese is because of the price of foods. After choosing a topic that I found would interest me, it became difficult finding sources that would give me more knowledge about this topic. After speaking with one of my classmates, he helped me think of other ways of getting more point across. This helped me a lot because now I was able to research other things that would support my topic. Over all, this research paper has helped me notice a major problem that our society is facing and how the problem can be resolved.
